Nancy Goh is the Director for Mapics Consultancy Sdn Bhd. She has extensive work experience and is fully instrumental with the objective of meeting the needs of business community by providing quality & affordable training programmes. She has held various positions at management level with the caliber to perform multi-functional duties. Her work experiences of more than 20 years evolved in Quality, Production, Human Resource, Purchasing & Materials Management, Marketing and Administration.
Her involvement in the International Trade Centre’s (ITC), UN/WTO, Geneva, Switzerland Modular Learning System (MLS-SCM) Programme for Mapics Consultancy Sdn Bhd has helped contributed a wider knowledge in purchasing & supply chain. She is well exposed in coordinating Mapics many training activities in providing in-house and public workshops, supported by a team of highly competent consultants – both local & abroad.
Nancy worked as a Consultant for International Trade Centre since 2007 to guide & coach numerous institutions and training coordinators on the MLS-SCM programme. She had attended various training techniques conducted by International Trade Centre’s on Modular Learning System in International Purchasing & Supply Chain Management. She is also a certified Trainer with Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Berhad (PSMB).
In 2011, she hosted the ITC’s MLS-SCM℗ Global Network Roundtable, 6-8 Apr 2011 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The event is organized in cooperation with Mapics Consultancy Sdn Bhd and with the support of the Government of Switzerland & International Trade Centre, UN/WTO.
She is deeply committed to the concept for personal growth & strongly feels the same for an organization.

DR. KOU YOOK FAT,
Dr. Kou Yook Fat has received his early education with a HND in industrial management and work as process engineer for seven years in semiconductor assembly specialized in automated gold wire bonding and ceramic semiconductor packaging. He continued his studies and obtained Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics Engineering from University of Sunderland.
He has received his postgraduate qualifications Master of Science in Quality Management from Cranfield University and Master of Business Administration from Henley Management College, Brunel University.
With more than 25 years of working experience in manufacturing environment, he has worked as a Quality Assurance Manager, Senior General Manager and Strategic Development Director responsible for group Quality Assurance, Advanced Manufacturing System, Supply Chain Management & Human Resource Development. He interests to develop companies in areas like Toyota Production System, Automotive Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management & Total Quality Management.
MR. ROBERTO SMITH-GiILLESPIE,
Mr. Smith-Gillespie was born in Peru in 1947, retired from the International Trade Centre UNCTAD/WTO (ITC) at the end of May 2007, after more than thirty years with the organization. As from 1981, Smith-Gillespie worked for ITC’s programme dealing with import operations and then International Purchasing and Supply Chain Management (IPSCM), becoming Section Chief in 1997. This programme focuses on improving the competitiveness and export success of developing country enterprises through enhanced supply chain management. It pursues this aim by developing business training and consultancy support programmes in this area jointly with local trade support institutions. After retirement, and until 2014, he continued to work for ITC’s IPSCM training programme as a consultant and as a member and chair of its Advisory Board.
Mr. Smith-Gillespie was earlier Trade and Business Information Adviser at ITC. Prior to joining ITC, he worked as Head of the Trade Information Service at Peru’s Ministry of Trade, and then as Head of the Information and Documentation Centre at the country’s Central Bank. Mr. Smith-Gillespie carried out his undergraduate university studies in business and economics at the Universidad del Pacifico, in Lima, Peru, and his graduate studies in journalism and mass communication at Syracuse University and the University of Minnesota in the USA.
MR. GABRIEL TAN,
Gabriel has been conducting the ITC’s (International Trade Centre) MLS-SCM (Modular Learning System in Supply Chain Management) Programme since 2007 in Vietnam.
He worked for Shell Company for 38 years covering 9 different jobs, over various functions namely Quality Management, Operation Management, HSE (Health, Safety, Environment ) Co-ordinator, Customer & Technical Service, HR and Procurement. He spent 3 years in the Shell Head Office in London, managing the Lubricants Quality System and performing Quality Audits of Shell Lubricants Blending Plants all over the world. After his retirement, he was a Procurement Consultant for a Vietnamese Company producing ball point pens and stationeries for 2 years.
He has conducted Training of Trainers (ToT) of the MLS-SCM Programme in Vietnam, Turkey and Mongolia. He is based in Ho Chi Minh City and doing a part time consultancy on business management for a Vietnamese paper packaging company.
MR. ATIQUL ISLAM,
Mr. Atiqul,CPSM-ISM,MBA, is a corporate supply chain professional who has been working as a trainer for International Supply Chain Certification & Diploma courses (MLS/SCM programme) offered by International Trade Centre, Geneva conducted by Dhaka Chamber of Commerce Business Institute (DCCI/ DBI), Bangladesh.
He has 13+ years of proven track record in supply chain functions in different multinationals. Currently he is working as Inbound Supply Chain Manager for Global IP networking under Ericsson Silicon Valley- a Swedish global leader in telecom industry, stationed in Malaysia to look after EMS & global suppliers from APAC. His last assignment was Head of Country Supply & Logistics for Ericsson Bangladesh Limited.
Mr. Atiqul exposed with many customer project supply management experience with best-in-class operational efficiency & cost optimization in Supply Operation, strategies, contract execution, vendor management & reverse logistics. He started his career in Berger paints Bangladesh limited in 2002 as FG planning & distribution executive under Marketing function. During his career he attended many leadership trainings, workshop, seminars across home and abroad conducted by renowned organizations like PDI ninth house, BTS, HERRMANN International, Franklin Covey, Human Dynamics, MIM, SIM, CIPS, British Council etc. In a very short time Mr. Atiqul achieved commendable capacity in leading diverse team, managing complex supply chain planning and wide distribution network with tremendous challenge and time bound target. He is also a founder member of different professional bodies like Executive Committee member of Bangladesh SCM Alumni Society (SAS) , Bangladesh Supply Chain Society (BSCS).
Mr. Atiqul Islam is an MBA major in Finance from University of Dhaka. He completed International Diploma on Purchasing & Supply management under MLS-SCM programme from International Trade Centre (ITC) UN/WTO, Geneva. He is also a Certified Professional of Supply Management (CPSM) under Institute of Supply management (ISM), USA. He is also a member of Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS), UK. He has the accreditation of SCMP under Supply Chain Management Association (SCMA), Canada. His core competence areas covered – Value Chain, Planning & Demand Management, Inventory Management, Contract Logistics, Service Procurement, Supplier Development & Performance management etc.
